Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition First impressions: is the hype real?

Smartphone and pop culture collaborations aren’t new, but special edition phones with a beverage brand aren’t something we see very often. Realme has partnered with the world-famous Coca-Cola brand, and the result is worth paying attention to. Realme has launched the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition smartphone and here are our first impressions of the device.

This special edition smartphone has the same internals as the standard 10 Pro 5G (at first glance), but differs with custom coloring and software focused on the Coca-Cola theme. The package we received is a huge cardboard box with the Coca-Cola logo that contains a red polycarbonate Realmeow figure that mimics the look of cocaine in a glass with all the bubbles. According to tweet from the company, the figurine will be presented to selected customers who have pre-booked a phone.

The retail packaging of the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition is colored in red, black and silver in the style of Coca-Cola. The Coca-Cola logo covers half of the box, and we have a tiny Realme logo to remind us that it’s actually a Realme phone.

Inside, we are first greeted by a black box with a cutout for a Coca-Cola bottle, which can be torn open to reveal the special stickers that come with this smartphone. You get two sheets of stickers, a printed card with the Coca-Cola logo and serial number for this limited edition smartphone, and a user manual.

Next, we have the phone itself, a USB Type-A to Type-C charging cable, a smokey black silicone case, and a 33W SuperVOOC power adapter.

As for the design of this smartphone, the Coca-Cola Realme 10 Pro 5G version has a black frame, similar to the “Dark Matter” color option that the standard Realme 10 Pro 5G is available in. The back panel is where everything really changed. It’s now two-tone, with a cropped silver-colored Coca-Cola logo with a red background on one side and the familiar Realme logo on the other.

Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition runs Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.

The chrome rings around the camera lenses are also red in this edition. The shiny logo looks unique and this smartphone will definitely grab the attention of many. For the UI, Realme has created a lot of custom icons and wallpapers for the Coca-Cola theme, and this is an interesting difference from the standard version.

In terms of optics, this Realme phone comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 108MP Samsung HM6 main sensor and a 2MP portrait sensor. It also features a 16MP selfie camera on the front. In addition, the sound of the camera shutter has been replaced with the sound of a bottle being opened.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition only comes in one variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and is priced at Rs. 20,999. This smartphone definitely looks unique and could be a great choice for hard drink fans or those looking for a quirky phone that stands out from the crowd.
