Poco X4 GT receives MIUI 14 update based on Android 13: report

The Poco X4 GT, which debuted last June, is reportedly getting the update to MIUI 14 based on Android 13. According to Xiaomiui report, MIUI 14 update for Poco X4 GT is rolling out globally with MIUI firmware version 14.0.1.0.TLOMIXM and January security patches. The latest update also brings new features and improvements, including “super” icons and widgets, as well as an updated visual design and search improvements in the Settings menu. It boasts improved performance and battery life.

The size of the latest update for Poco X4 GT is 709MB and customers can use the MIUI Downloader to access the update. It currently applies to users registered in Poco Pilots and will be widely available if no bugs are found, according to the report.

The Poco X4 GT was launched last June with MIUI 13 based on Android 12 on board. Now it’s getting its first major OS update. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.6-inch display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It features a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC under the hood.

Last month, Xiaomi released the latest MIUI 14 OS update based on Android 13 for Xiaomi 11T and Poco F4 to select users with MIUI firmware version 14.0.3.0.TKWMIXM and 14.0.1.0.TLMINXM respectively. However, both of these devices only received December 2022 security patches as part of the update.
