Poco will reportedly launch a new smartphone this year, which is said to be an upgraded version of the Redmi Note 10S. The Chinese brand is also expected to release a Pro version of the smartphone. Details of the rumored smartphone have reportedly been found in Mi Code. The phone was also marked in the EEC certification list and in the IMEI database. The vanilla and Pro variants are said to be codenamed rosemaryp and rosemaryp_pro respectively. The phone is rumored to have similar specs to the Redmi Note 10S.
According to report Xiaomiui Poco is expected to release a new phone which will be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 10S. The report says that the company is rumored to release the smartphone in two flavors: vanilla and Pro. The base variant of the smartphone was codenamed “rosemaryp” while the Pro variant was codenamed “rosemaryp_pro”.
The report added that the two rebranded variants were recently spotted on Mi Code and a month ago on the EEC certification site and in the IMEI database. It has been said that the smartphones are rumored to be released with model numbers 2207117BPG and K7BP. Since the smartphone is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10S, it can be assumed that the specifications of the rumored phone will be similar to those of the Redmi smartphone.
Specifications of Redmi Note 10S
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 10S in India last May. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MedtaTek Helio G95 SoC coupled with a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU and a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It launched with Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top. The smartphone features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED touchscreen with a maximum brightness of 1100 nits. The display of the phone has also been protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Initially, the smartphone was released with only 6 GB of RAM. Later, Xiaomi also released an 8GB RAM variant. The smartphone is currently being sold in India in three RAM + storage options: 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB.
