Poco M4 Pro 5G Launch Confirmed Nov 9

Poco has confirmed that it will officially unveil the Poco M4 Pro 5G on November 9th.

Rumors of an upcoming budget contender (because Poco phones always bid on a budget) have already leaked all over the internet. It went through the FCC earlier this month, a sure sign of an imminent launch.

More recently, the phone has appeared in the popular Geekbench 5 benchmarking tool.

Now, the company created by Xiaomi has confirmed the existence of the phone in a tweet.

In addition to confirming that this will be the brand’s last launch in 2021 (we might have guessed it), the post points to an online launch event taking place on November 9 at 8:00 pm GMT.

There is no indication of the design specs, although we already have some indications of the latter thanks to the aforementioned Geekbench and FCC looks.

It looks like the Poco M4 Pro will be powered by Dimensity 810, MediaTek’s new 6nm chip with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. It also appears to have a 6.6-inch display, a 4,900mAh battery with 33W charging,

It is worth noting that some (through GSMArena) attributed the Xiaomi model 21091116AC presented in Geekbench to the Redmi Note 11, so these specifications are not entirely accurate.

This is what happens when a brand has so many budget subsidiaries and subsidiaries. The release schedule is disrupted and things get confusing.

It was only last November that Poco announced its independence from Xiaomi. With phones like the Poco X3 NFC and Poco F3, these are some of the most attractive affordable phones on the market right now.
