Poco M4 5G Key Specs Leaked Ahead of Today’s Launch, MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC Announced
The Poco M4 5G is ready to launch in India today at 12:00 pm EST. Just a few hours before its official debut, a new leak revealed the phone’s key specs. The Poco M4 5G could pack a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood. It is speculated to come with an 8MP selfie sensor and a 5,000mAh battery. The Poco M4 5G is already teased to feature a Full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The company also teased the presence of a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

According to the source, the smartphone will feature a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC. The Poco M4 5G dual rear camera is said to include a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP sensor. However, the company has already teased a phone with a 50-megapixel main sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone can be equipped with an 8-megapixel sensor. The Poco M4 5G is also reported to have a dust and water resistant design with an IP52 rating. Poco is expected to bundle the Poco M4 5G 5000mAh battery. It is expected to weigh 200 grams.
Poco has already announced that the launch of the Poco M4 5G will take place on April 29 in India at 12:00 pm EST. The company even started teasing the smartphone via Twitter. The brand has confirmed that the upcoming device will have a Full HD+ resolution screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It will also support seven 5G bands. The Poco M4 5G is expected to be available in Black, Blue, and Yellow.
The smartphone could be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 11E, which was launched in March in China with a starting price of 1,199 Yuan (roughly Rs. 14,400) for the base 4GB + 128GB storage variant. Poco M4 5G pricing in India can match that.
