The Oppo Reno 7 Pro is tuned to use RGB lighting in a unique way, according to a host of press releases.
These days, we usually only associate RGB lighting with niche gaming phones. Even so, it cannot be applied with great style or taste.
Oppo looks set to change all of that with the Oppo Reno 7 Pro, which launches in China this week. As you can see from the next tweet, the most striking design solution will be the RGB lighting located around the camera module.
We’re also getting glimpses in the design language for something more like the boxy iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. Yes, smartphone makers seem to still be following Apple’s lead in late 2021.
If you think Oppo will ditch the RGB color swap capability, we have news for you. One of Oppo’s official teaser videos has appeared online and shows the potential for custom colors and backlight patterns.
Besides the beautiful light show, the aforementioned YouTube post from Tech World Walt Plus also included in some of the rumored specs of the Oppo Reno 7 Pro.
It will apparently include a 6.4-inch display, 8GB of RAM and a 4,500mAh battery. Expect a triple camera system led by a 50MP wide sensor with redundant 8MP and 2MP. We assume that the latter two are ultra-wide and macro sensors, respectively. At the front is a 32MP selfie camera.
We’ll find out for sure on November 25th. Keep for updates.
