Oppo K9s design revealed in teaser video, will come with triple rear cameras and fingerprint scanner

Oppo K9s, a new smartphone from the Chinese brand, will debut on October 20 in the company’s home market. Ahead of the official debut, Oppo has shared a teaser video of the newest K9 series phone revealing the phone’s design in every detail. The video gives an insight into the display, the presence of the fingerprint sensor and the color options of the Oppo K9s. Oppo has already teased the phone by revealing that it will have a 120Hz display, triple rear camera, 5,000mAh battery and support for 30W VOOC fast charging.

Video general from Oppo on Weibo shows color versions of the Oppo K9s Magic Purple Quicksand, Neon Silver Sea and Obsidian Warrior (in translation). The phone will have volume buttons, as well as a SIM card slot on the right spine. The phone will have a fingerprint reader for security. The bottom edge of the smartphone is marked with a microphone, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port and speaker grill.

Oppo has already announced that the Oppo K9s will launch on October 20 in China. However, the company has not yet shared any information about its launch in India.

The full specs of the Oppo K9s are not yet known. But the phone is confirmed to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset under the hood, an X-axis linear motor for gaming, and a 120Hz refresh rate display. In terms of optics, the Oppo K9s will have a triple rear camera that includes a 64MP main sensor. A 16-megapixel selfie sensor will be installed on the front of the phone.

The Oppo K9s is confirmed to be equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC flash charging. Oppo also said the battery will be fully charged in 59 minutes using flash charging technology. In addition, the smartphone was listed on the Chinese retailer’s website with two storage options – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB.
