Oppo K9s is gearing up to launch in China on Wednesday, October 20. Ahead of its debut, the Chinese tech giant has unveiled the battery specifications and its fast charging capabilities. The upcoming K9 series smartphone will come with a 5,000mAh battery and support for 30W VOOC fast charging. In addition, the Oppo K9s offers a Snapdragon 778G chipset, a triple rear camera with a 64MP sensor, and a 120Hz display. In addition, the smartphone was listed on the Chinese seller’s website.
Through its official China Web siteOppo has confirmed that the Oppo K9s will come with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC flash charging. The company also says the battery will be fully charged in 59 minutes using fast charging technology.
Oppo recently announced Oppo K9s launch in China on Oct 20 via Weibo. However, Oppo has yet to share any information about its launch in India. The phone has been confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Chipset, an X-axis linear motor for gaming, and a 120Hz refresh rate display. The Oppo K9s will have a triple rear camera with a 64MP primary sensor. A 16-megapixel selfie sensor will be installed on the front of the phone.
According to him listing on JD.com, the Oppo K9s is currently bookable in Magic Purple Quicksand, Neon Silver Sea and Obsidian Warrior color options (translated). The list also suggests a punch-hole display design and is said to feature a 6.59-inch Full HD + display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner located on the side. According to the listing, the K9s will come with 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage options.
The Oppo K9s could be a small update to the Oppo K9 Pro launched in September in India. The Oppo K9 Pro features a triple camera setup on the back with a 64MP main camera. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and packs a 4500mAh battery with 60W Flash Charge support. The phone also has a display refresh rate of 120Hz.
