Oppo Inno Day 2021 Event Set For Second Week Of December, Foldable Smartphone Expected

Oppo has published details for the Oppo Inno Day 2021 event, which will take place from December 14-15 in Shenzhen, China. The Oppo Inno World virtual launch event will kick off at 13:30 (14:30 IST) on December 14. As part of the show, visitors can create their own Oppo Inno World Avatar and remotely join the launch with their personalized avatars.

Oppo hasn’t provided any specific details on what it brings to the Oppo Inno Day 2021 event, but previous leaks suggest the company is going to announce the Oppo Foldable smartphone, which has been reportedly in development for some time.

The famous Chinese tipster WHYLAB also published Screenshots of alleged Oppo foldable phone certifications from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT) on Weibo. The phone is reported to be listed in MIIT under the model number “PEUM00”.

According to previous leaks, the phone may have been called the Oppo Find N 5G, but Oppo has not officially disclosed any details about the device yet. Oppo’s first foldable smartphone features an 8-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a curved screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. It could also have a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood.

Oppo’s upcoming foldable phone will run ColorOS based on Android 11. The phone is expected to feature a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 16MP IMX481 sensor and a 13MP Samsung ISOCELL sensor. SK3M5 sensor. It is also speculated to have a 32MP selfie camera.
