Oppo Find X5 Pro specs listed on Geekbench listed with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset

The Oppo Find X5 Pro is believed to have been spotted on the Geekbench test platform. The Oppo smartphone was listed on the website with model number CPH2305 and the listing also suggests some of the key specs of the device. The Oppo Find X5 Pro may be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The listing on Geekbench website lists 12GB of RAM on the upcoming Oppo phone. The Oppo Find X5 Pro is expected to debut alongside the Find X5 and Find X5 Lite models. It is expected to replace the Oppo Find X3 Pro introduced in March last year.

Oppo’s upcoming smartphone appeared on multiple ads on Geekbench under the model name CPH2305, referring to the global version. According to the list, initially spotted Nashville Chatter, the Oppo Find X5 Pro has a chipset codenamed “taro” that is linked to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The website also lists the phone as having 10.96GB of storage. On paper, that means 12GB of RAM. It also offers Android 12 on the Oppo Find X5 Pro. As for the SoC, the listing lists one high-performance core with a maximum clock speed of 3.00GHz, three cores at 2.50GHz, and four cores at 1.79GHz.

The phone appeared on the Geekbench website with scores of 966 to 1256 in single-core tests and 3357 to 3420 in multi-core tests. However, Oppo has yet to reveal any details about the Find X5 Pro.

The Oppo Find X5 lineup is expected to include the regular Find X5, Find X5 Pro, and Find X5 Lite models. The Find X5 Pro variant is said to debut later this month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 in Barcelona. The company announced that it will be exhibiting “breakthrough technologies and new products” at MWC, including several “high-end flagship products.”

According to past leaks, the phone may have a 6.7-inch QHD+ (3216×1440 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Oppo Find X5 Pro is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone has a triple rear camera setup consisting of two 50MP Sony IMX776 sensors and a 13MP telephoto lens. The Find X5 Pro is reported to come with a custom MariSilicon X AI chip. It is also speculated to feature a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie sensor.

Oppo is said to be supplying a 5,000mAh battery in the phone. It can support 80W fast wired charging along with support for wireless charging.
