Oppo’s successor to last year’s foldable Oppo Find N will reportedly launch as the Oppo Find N2. The purported foldable smartphone has been briefed by Digital Chat Station via a Weibo post regarding key specs, including processor, display, battery, build form, and software details. Specifications and details of the smartphone have not been officially confirmed by Oppo. Moreover, it is still unclear if the Oppo Find N2 will launch outside of China.
According to mail According to Digital Chat Station on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the alleged Oppo Find N2 will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 7.1-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED foldable display. The device will also reportedly launch with a 4520mAh battery. According to the source, the design of the foldable smartphone is rumored to have a faux leather back panel. The device is said to run Oppo ColorOS 13 based on Android 13.
Oppo has previously said that its next-gen foldable phone won’t have issues with the outer display and wrinkle in the foldable display, in a statement by Pete Lau, Oppo’s chief product officer and founder of OnePlus. Lau took to Weibo to make himself known. The smartphone mentioned in the statement is believed to be the Oppo Find N2, which is expected to be the successor to the Oppo Find N.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Find N2 is expected to retain the side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button from its predecessor, the Oppo Find N. The foldable smartphone will reportedly be available in black, white, and green. Tipster also claims that production of the Oppo Find N2 is already underway, indicating that a launch date can be expected soon.
However, there has been no official confirmation from the company on the launch date, availability, or specs of the Oppo Find N2.
