New OnePlus Nord 2 makes from 91mobile is OnLeaks they show a device that seems more than a little familiar to those familiar with the Chinese company’s previous phones. The rounded rectangular camera hood and punch-hole selfie camera are almost indistinguishable from those found in recent OnePlus 9.
It’s certainly not a bad thing, since the OnePlus 9 was £ 250 more than the North at launch, although the looks aren’t an area where mid-range OnePluses really needed improvement. That said, 91mobile explains that the renderings are created from a “first CAD prototype” that could mean “slight design changes” for the product that is available for purchase on the OnePlus site.
Interestingly, the rumor says that OnePlus will move away from Qualcomm for the OnePlus Nord 2, with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 system on a chip that makes the weight heavy, backed by 12 GB of RAM. We’ll have to wait and see what the performance looks like, and if that proves OnePlus ’“ Never Settle ”mantra.

Elsewhere, the phone is slated to have up to 256 GB of memory – probably without the expansion option, which shouldn’t surprise those who have followed OnePlus’s past phones. The 6.43-inch device will boast a 90Hz AMOLED display, has a 4,500mAh battery and support for 5G. The triple camera array shown in the renderings will consist of a 50MP main sensor, supported by 8MP and 2MP lenses. Meanwhile, the selfie camera will be 32MP.
It shouldn’t take too long to wait, if the site’s sources are correct. The phone is expected to be unveiled early next month, with Tuesday, July 13th tipped as a possible launch date.
