OnePlus 9RT launch date set for October 15th: everything you need to know
The OnePlus 9RT is expected to launch soon. Tipster has shared the estimated launch date for the OnePlus smartphone. The upcoming phone is likely to be released in the middle of next month. According to an earlier report, the OnePlus 9RT is expected to launch in India and China only and will most likely be the last smartphone launched by OnePlus this year. According to another report, the upcoming smartphone could be powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC, 8GB of RAM, a triple rear camera and more.
Famous tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@onleaks) tweeted that OnePlus 9RT could launch on October 15th. Since this has not yet been confirmed by OnePlus, this information should be taken with some skepticism. The August report also mentions October as the OnePlus 9RT pre-launch.
OnePlus 9RT price (expected)
The OnePlus 9RT is reportedly offered in two storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The 128GB storage option can be priced at Rs 2999 (roughly Rs 34,300), while the 256GB storage option can be priced at Rs 3299 (roughly Rs 37,700).

The upcoming OnePlus 9RT is speculated to feature a 6.55-inch Samsung E3 full-HD + Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Like the OnePlus 9R (Review), the upcoming smartphone is said to work on Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The upcoming OnePlus smartphone could get a triple rear camera with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor – similar to the one on the OnePlus Nord 2 (review) – along with a 16MP Sony IMX481 ultra wide-angle sensor. The OnePlus 9RT is said to be equipped with a 4500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
The smartphone, which is due to launch soon, has also been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, suggesting that it may soon be released in India.
