OnePlus 11R 5G confirmed to feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 100W fast charging

The OnePlus 11R 5G will be officially unveiled in India during the Cloud 11 event on February 7, but before then, the Chinese smartphone brand has been teasing some of its specs. It is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC coupled with 16GB of RAM. The OnePlus 11R 5G is expected to feature a smooth display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. OnePlus’ upcoming premium smartphone will debut as the successor to the OnePlus 10R 5G.

OnePlus on Monday confirmed the presence of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the upcoming OnePlus 11R 5G via a press release. This marks a major upgrade from the outgoing OnePlus 10R 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC. The gaming-focused smartphone is speculated to feature a 120Hz Super Fluid Display. The screen has an ADFR 2.0 feature that allows you to automatically adjust the display frame rate between different refresh rates – 40Hz, 45Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz depending on usage. OnePlus claims the OnePlus 11R 5G is the first phone to feature the new display technology.

For smooth gaming sessions, the phone is confirmed to be equipped with a 3D cooling system. It is claimed to cover 63.8% more surface area than the OnePlus 10 Pro vapor chamber. In addition, there is a RAM-Vita feature that uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to speed up memory reallocation between uses.

In addition, the OnePlus 11R 5G will feature a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. Fast charging technology is claimed to charge the OnePlus 11R 5G battery from zero to 100 percent in just 25 minutes.

OnePlus has already announced that the OnePlus 11R 5G will launch on February 7 in India during the Cloud 11 event. It will go on sale in India via Amazon. OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, OnePlus Pad, and OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro are expected to debut alongside them.
