The OnePlus 10 Pro specs have allegedly surfaced on Geekbench testing platform and China Compulsory Certification (3C) website ahead of the official launch. The list on Geekbench offers 12GB of RAM on the upcoming OnePlus phone. However, his announcement on the 3C website points to support for 80W fast charging. It has already been confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro will have Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The flagship phone also features a new generation low temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) display.
Geekbench list shows OnePlus 10 Pro with model number NE2210. The same model number recently appeared on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT) and was then thought to be associated with the regular OnePlus 10.
According to the list that was originally seen from Nashville Chatter, the phone has a chipset, codenamed taro, associated with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The website also states that the phone has 10.97GB of storage. On paper, that means 12GB of RAM.
The list of tests also suggests Android 12 on the OnePlus phone. Furthermore, it shows that the phone scored 976 points for single-core and 3469 points for multi-core. However, they do not reflect the actual performance of the OnePlus 10 Pro, as the phone that appears on Geekbench may be just a prototype and may need some work in the future.
Separately, a OnePlus phone with the same model number NE2210 has appeared on the 3C website, which offers a complete charger with a maximum output power of 7.3 amperes at 11 V. This suggests support for 80W fast charging.
The announcement on the 3C website was originally seen by MySmartPrice and independently verified by Gadgets 360.
Earlier this year, OnePlus introduced the Warp Charge 65T on the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9. This proprietary technology delivered up to 65W of power output (6.5A @ 10V).
Offering 80W fast charging this time around, the OnePlus 10 Pro could be the company’s fastest charging phone. The technology may continue the company’s fast-charging technology nomenclature and may be called the Warp Charge 80.
If we look at previous rumors, the OnePlus 10 Pro may have a 5,000mAh battery. The phone is rumored to have 50W Qi wireless charging.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is set to launch in January with a release date to be announced next week. Meanwhile, pre-registration for the flagship phone has already begun in China.
