OnePlus has confirmed the release of a new phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Although the Chinese company has yet to reveal the exact model it plans to release, it is speculated that it will be the OnePlus 10 series. Rumors are that the series will also feature a vanilla OnePlus 10 alongside the OnePlus 10 Pro. Both OnePlus flagship phones are expected to debut next year. Along with OnePlus, it has been confirmed that companies such as Black Shark, Honor, iQoo and Oppo have their new phones powered by SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Realme, Motorola and Xiaomi have also announced their phones based on the new flagship chip.
Across mail On Weibo, OnePlus announced that it is considering a new launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The exact details have not yet been disclosed. However, the informant Mukul Sharma has tweeted to suggest that the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro will be the company’s offerings based on the latest Snapdragon chip.
A report released last month also claimed the OnePlus 10 Pro will be among the top Android phones with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

Qualcomm unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as its new SoC flagship on Wednesday.
