Nothing phone 1 to get Glyph interface; Reportedly will not launch in the US and Canada

The flashing LED pattern will let users know who the call or notification is from by pairing individual contacts with a specific ringtone and Glyph pattern.

At the bottom of Nothing Phone 1 is an LED strip. The light bar shows the battery percentage and also indicates that the smartphone is connected to the network. The lights indicating battery percentage flash only for a few seconds, but users can shake the handset to make it light up again. There is a red light in the top right corner that flashes when recording is in progress. The user can also set a daily timer to turn the Glyph off when not needed. These features help users not to look at their screens all the time. Through the Glyph interface, users can also return to the sound-only function, as well as flip the smartphone to turn on silent mode with backlight-only notifications.

According to report It has been confirmed by PCMag that Nothing Phone 1 will not launch in the US and Canadian markets just yet, as the company currently wants to focus on home markets including the UK and Europe. The company reportedly said, “As you know, it takes a lot to launch a smartphone, from getting the phone supported by the country’s cellular technology to partnering with carriers and local regulation, and since we’re still a young brand, we need to be strategic. It is reported that the smartphone will only be available to a limited number of private Nothing investors in the US.

The company recently announced that it will be launching Nothing Phone 1 on July 12 as part of a virtual event called “Return to Instinct” starting at 8:30 pm EST. The virtual event will be streamed live on Nothing’s official website. YouTube channel.

Nothing Phone 1 has reportedly passed TUV SUD security certification. The accessories for the smartphone are supposed to be available on Flipkart as the internal code is said to mention a list of phone cases and covers on the e-commerce website.

The company previously announced that it would be auctioning multiple Nothing Phone 1 devices in partnership with StockX. The smartphone has also reportedly received BIS India certification approval.
