Nothing phone (1) gets big price cuts in Black Friday sale

Nothing caused much hype before the release of the first smartphone, and now the phone (1) has come up with a pretty big discount.

Launched at £399 – already a pretty good price for a phone with this kind of specs and features – Amazon has slashed the price of the phone. Nothing, phone (1) up to £349.99.

That’s £49.01, or 12% off the suggested retail price, and is the first significant discount we’ve seen on this particular Android phone.

The main attraction here is the smart transparent design that lets you choose from LED bulbs. Nothing calls it a Glyph interface, and it combines backlighting with notifications on your phone. It’s fun, if a bit useless.

Don’t judge Nothing Phone (1) entirely by Glyph, it’s good elsewhere. It looks beautiful, has a powerful mid-range Snapdragon processor, and a fast 120Hz display that performed very well in our extensive testing.
