Nokia G22 spotted on Geekbench list; Unisoc T606 system-on-a-chip is supposed to be presented: all the details

The Nokia G22, the upcoming smartphone from the Nokia G series, recently appeared on benchmarking website Geekbench, hinting at some of its key specs. According to the listing, the smartphone can run stock Android based on Android 12 out of the box. The Nokia G22 has been seen to come with an octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz. It may have 4 GB of RAM, according to the information provided in the listing on the benchmarking website. However, Nokia has yet to officially reveal the specifications and launch date for the Nokia G22. The phone will replace the Nokia G21, released in April 2022.

The listing reveals some of the key specs of the alleged Nokia G22, which is said to be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC coupled with a Mali-G57 GPU. It is assumed that the smartphone will be equipped with 4 GB of RAM. According to the report, the upcoming smartphone managed to score 308 points in single-core test results and 1094 points in multi-core test results. In terms of software, the upcoming Nokia G22 will run Android 12 out of the box with a stock Android user interface.

In addition, at the moment there is no additional information on the phone. The company has not disclosed its developments yet. The phone will replace the Nokia G21, released in April last year. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Nokia G21 is powered by the same octa-core Unisoc T606 SoC.

It offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card. The Nokia G21 debuted with Android 11 OS and features a triple camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 2MP depth camera and 2MP macro camera. An 8-megapixel camera is provided for selfies and video calls.

In addition, the phone packs a 5050mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Nokia G21 costs Rs. 12,999 in India and available in Dusk and Nordic Blue color options.
