According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the new iPhone SE with 5G may arrive in the next few months.

We may see the third generation iPhone SE this spring, according to Gourmet in his latest announcement. Power On Newsletter

Apple is expected to hold its first virtual event this year around March or April, where, among other things, we can expect new iPhones to be announced.

On April 15, 2020, the company announced the second generation iPhone SE, however, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this was announced in a press release, and not at a personal or virtual event.

The foodie predicts that the latest iPhone SE should be updated with 5G compatibility and new internals. The iPhone SE 2 has been powered by the A13 chip since 2019 and supports 4G LTE, so it makes sense for the company to pack the latest SE model with improved features and a new chipset.

He also believes the iPhone SE 3 will have a design similar to the iPhone 8, which features a glass back with rounded corners and curved edges.

No other changes have been mentioned, so we may not see any upgraded camera sensors or more storage from 128GB, although that would be in line with the low cost of the SE line. On the other hand, it would not be surprising if the battery was updated due to the fact that 5G is increasing battery life.

In addition to the latest SE model, it was also mentioned that Apple may announce a new 27-inch iMac, as well as high-end Mac mini models that will feature M1 Pro and M1 Max chipsets. They are also expected to appear at the event in the spring.
