Motorola Edge S Pro Confirmed In Pre-Launch Promotional Video On Aug 5 May Be Renamed Edge 20 Pro


The Motorola Edge S Pro name has been confirmed in a promotional video posted by the company on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The phone is slated for release on August 5 as the successor to the Motorola Edge S from January this year, which has hit global markets as the Moto G100. The Lenovo-owned company has teased some of the features of the Motorola Edge S Pro, the phone will come in a thin and light form factor, come with the company’s Ready for technology, and more.

Motorola shared Promotional video on his Weibo account showing the “Ready to Go” feature of the upcoming phone, which has been confirmed to be the Motorola Edge S Pro. It will be shown live in China on August 5, starting at 7:30 pm local time (5:00 pm IST). The commercial focuses on the Ready for functionality, which allows the phone to be connected to an external display, among other features, official Lenovo website and Weibo page confirmed a couple of other specs.

The Motorola Edge S Pro will have 50x zoom, 5G connectivity, a thickness of just 6.99mm and a weight of 163 grams. The phone could be launched in China under the rebranding Motorola Edge 20 Pro, which was recently introduced to the global market alongside the Motorola Edge 20 and Edge 20 Lite. If so, the Motorola Edge S Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC, just like the Motorola Edge S, and have a 6.7-inch display with a high refresh rate of at least 90Hz.

It can also carry a triple rear camera that includes a 108MP primary sensor, a 16MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide angle and macro lens, and an 8MP sensor with 5x high-resolution optical zoom and 50x super zoom. telephoto lens.
