The Motorola Edge X, an upcoming phone from the smartphone brand owned by Lenovo, was recently teased by a company executive and has reportedly been spotted on China’s Mandatory Certification (3C) website with model number XT2201-2. Now, fresh reports suggest Motorola is working on a flagship called the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, and the device reportedly showed up in the 3C certification site database with the same model number as the Motorola Edge X. Based on this, it is safe to assume that the company will most likely introduce the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra as the Moto Edge X in the Chinese market. Possible technical specifications of Motorola Edge 30 Ultra also appeared on the network.
According to report by MySmartPrice, Motorola’s premium smartphone with model number XT2201-2 is listed on the 3C certification website. The listing also indicates the type of smartphone charging. It is said to support 68.2W fast charging.
In a separate development report by TechnikNews suggests Motorola is working on its new flagship called the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra with model number XT2201. According to the report, the upcoming Motorola smartphone is internally codenamed Rogue and HiPhi.
According to the report, Motorola will unveil the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra in China in December, possibly under the name Motorola Edge X. The Edge 30 lineup will launch globally in January 2022. In China, the Edge 30 Ultra is said to receive an OS update to Android 13. In other markets, the phone will receive two OS updates.

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra features a 6.67-inch Full HD + OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10 + support. The next flagship Qualcomm SM8450 chipset, codenamed taro, is said to power the device. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will likely receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC. According to the report, the smartphone will have two RAM and storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. Your phone may not be able to expand the built-in memory.
It is reported that the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will ship with Android 12 pre-installed. The phone may have a triple rear camera. It is said to include two 50MP shots and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone is expected to receive a 60-megapixel shooter housed in a hole punch cutout. It is supposed to support video recording up to 4K.
According to the report, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is IP52 rated for water and dust resistance and won’t ship with a 3.5mm headphone port. In Europe, they say the phone has a dedicated Google Assistant button. Other connectivity features include stereo speakers, three microphones, 5G, and Bluetooth v5.2. The upcoming Edge 30 Ultra will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
