Moto G52j 5G spotted on Geekbench, FV-5 camera; Likely to get octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC: report

Moto G52j 5G results and specifications have been spotted on Geekbench, Camera FV-5 and Wi-Fi Alliance websites. The affordable smartphone will reportedly get Snapdragon 695 SoC and Android 11 out of the box. The Snapdragon 695 SoC is said to offer 5G connectivity on the device. The 5G version of the recently released Moto G52 is also expected to have a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, and the smartphone will use pixel binning to reduce image resolution to 12.5MP.
According to report from 91Mobiles, the Moto G52j 5G has been spotted on the Geekbench and Camera FV-5 websites. Geekbench gave 663 points for single-core processing and 1703 points for multi-core processing. Presumably, the affordable smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor. The smartphone is expected to ship with Android 11 and support 5G. Motorola has also reportedly ditched the Snapdragon 680 SoC that was used in the 4G variant of the Moto G52 in favor of the Snapdragon 695 to enable 5G connectivity.
The report also claimed that the smartphone’s motherboard was named “cypfr” on the Geekbench website. This could be the codename for the Snapdragon 695 processor that is said to be used in an affordable Motorola smartphone and has a base clock speed of 1.8GHz. The listing shows that the SoC is also likely to be paired with 6GB of RAM. The performance cores on the Snapdragon chip are clocked at 2.21GHz. In addition, the chipset is paired with an Adreno 619 GPU.
As seen on the FV-5 camera listingThe Motorola smartphone is also expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The smartphone will most likely use pixel binning on top of a 12.5MP sensor. The camera lens is expected to have a field of view of 63 degrees horizontally and 49.6 degrees vertically.
It is reported that the smartphone is also spotted device on the Wi-Fi Alliance website. The report states that the website listed the phone as dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz, with Wi-Fi support. The report also added that the listed model number for the upcoming Motorola 5G smartphone was XT2219-1, which is believed to be related to the Moto G52j 5G.
The Moto G52j 5G is said to be the 5G variant of the Moto G52 that first went on sale in India at noon on May 3 this year. The Moto G52 was launched in India at the end of April this year with a Snapdragon 680 SoC and a 90Hz pOLED touch display.
