Moto G22 specs posted on alleged Geekbench listing may ship with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC

The launch of the Motorola Moto G22 has yet to be officially confirmed by the smartphone brand owned by Lenovo. But before that, the phone reportedly appeared on the benchmarking site Geekbench. Recent developments suggest that Motorola’s new G-series smartphone may hit the markets soon. The alleged Moto G22 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. According to a purported Geekbench listing, the Moto G22 could run on Android 11. Renders and key specs of another rumored Motorola device, the Moto G Stylus (2022), have recently surfaced online.

Alleged listing on Geekbench, first spotted MySmartPrice reveals that the alleged Motorola Moto G22 could get an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone reportedly scored 170 in single-core testing and 912 in multi-core testing on Geekbench. The listing screenshots also suggest that the expected smartphone could run Android 11 out of the box. As for the SoC, the listing includes four high-performance cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.30 GHz and four cores with a maximum clock speed of 1.80 GHz.

Motorola has yet to confirm the launch of the Moto G22, however.

Recently, details about another smartphone from the Motorola brand appeared on the network. The Moto G Stylus (2022) is set to debut in India at Rs. 38 475.

Leaked renders of the Moto G Stylus (2022) suggest a punch-hole display design and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Moto G Stylus (2022) is expected to feature a 6.81-inch display. The phone may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus octa-core chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Other leaked specs of the Moto G Stylus (2022) include a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. It is speculated to come with a 4,500mAh battery and a USB Type-C port. The Moto G Stylus (2022) is expected to measure 170.3×75.9×9.4mm.
