Moto E22, Moto E22i with 6.5-inch display and SoC MediaTek Helio G37 presented: price, specifications

Moto E22 and Moto E22i were launched in several markets this week. The latest E-series smartphones are equipped with MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, 6.5-inch displays with 90Hz refresh rate and 4020mAh batteries. Entry-level smartphones will be released in other markets in the coming weeks. You also get 16MP main cameras and 5MP selfie cameras on the front. Motorola has installed side-mounted fingerprint scanners on both phones, as well as stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Moto E22 and Moto E22i price, availability
The Moto E22 has been priced at €139.99 (roughly Rs. 11,150) and is available in Astro Black as well as Crystal Blue. The Moto E22i has been priced at €129.99 (roughly Rs. 10,300) and is available in Graphite Gray and Winter White.
Motorola says both smartphones will be available in selected markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Moto E22 runs Android 12 while Moto E22i runs Android 12 (Go version). Both smartphones feature 6.5-inch HD+ displays with a 90Hz refresh rate. Motorola says the refresh rate will automatically adjust between 90Hz and 60Hz when auto mode is enabled. The smartphones are powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM.
For photos and videos, both the Moto E22 and Moto E22i are equipped with dual rear cameras. There is a 16MP AI main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front of both phones is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Moto E22 comes with a Dual Capture feature allowing users to capture photos or videos at the same time using the front and rear cameras. Moto e22i has software features like Time Lapse.
Both the Moto E22 and Moto E22i come with 64GB of onboard storage. They come with 4020mAh battery packs and 10W charging support. The smartphones feature Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers, a first for the Moto E series of smartphones. They also get side-mounted fingerprint sensors and Activate Power Touch, which opens app shortcuts by double-tapping the fingerprint reader.
