The Samsung Galaxy S22 series has yet to be officially confirmed by the South Korean tech brand, although there have been many leaks and renders. Samsung’s new flagship line of die-hard devices is expected to include the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S22, as well as the Galaxy S22 + and Galaxy S22 Ultra models. In a new update, a video has appeared on the web showing the design of the three flagship smartphones. The designs of the smartphones shown in the video are similar to those featured in previous reports. Separately, the informant revealed the characteristics of the Galaxy 22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra models, including the presence of “SuperClear Lens”.
That video Posted on the popular YouTube channel Unbox Therapy, showcases the design of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, detailing the alleged bogus devices. The video is currently not available on the channel, but it was overloaded on other channels. The video shows mockups of vanilla Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + with triple rear cameras, with camera modules positioned on the upper left side of their back. The vanilla Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + are similar in design to their predecessors, the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + respectively. The Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is expected to be a premium phone in the upcoming series, appears to have a design similar to the Galaxy Note 20. The video also suggests a quad rear camera unit on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Separately tipster Zaryab Khan (@xeetechcare) leaked the specs of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra rumored on Twitter. According to the announcement, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra camera modules will have “Super Clear Lens”. The vanilla Galaxy S22 is said to feature a 6.1-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). The Galaxy S22 Ultra is speculated to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with QHD + resolution (3,080 x 1,440 pixels).
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to be available in burgundy, green, phantom black and phantom white. It is also shown with a built-in S Pen stylus slot. According to the leak, the main camera of the Galaxy S22 Ultra includes a 108MP wide-angle camera with Super Clear Lens and f / 1.8 aperture, 12MP ultra-wide sensor with f / 2.2 aperture and dual-pixel autofocus, 10MP sensor with f / 2.4 and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with f / 4.9. For selfies, the phone is said to have a 40-megapixel sensor with an f / 2.2 aperture.
The phone is called the Exynos 2200 variant in the post. According to the leak, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will offer up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It is said to also pack a 5,000mAh battery.
Samsung has yet to announce a launch date for the Galaxy S22 series, however, the new series is expected to debut in February.
