The Vivo X70 Pro +, the most premium model rumored to be part of the Vivo X70 series, has leaked in renders that suggest design and unique features of the phone. The Vivo X70 Pro + has also been spotted on the Google Play Console listing some of its specs. The release of the Vivo X70 series was reportedly confirmed for September by a company executive who also revealed that these phones will include the first internal ISP (Image Signal Processor) chips from Vivo.
The renders of the Vivo X70 Pro + were a leak Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks) in collaboration with Pricebaba. The phone features a curved display with a selfie camera cutout positioned in the center at the top. The bezels are very thin on all sides and the phone will likely have an in-display fingerprint scanner. The rear panel is similar to that of the Mi 11 Ultra with a camera module that houses four rear cameras, a laser autofocus unit and an LED flash. The ZEISS logo is also located inside the module. There is a large blank area on the side of the camera module that could be an optional rear display. But it could also just be a design feature with no display on the back, and the clarity on this is not achieved with renders.
The power and volume buttons are visible on the right spine of the Vivo X70 Pro +, while the speaker grill and USB Type-C port are on the bottom edge. The report reveals that the Vivo X70 Pro + may have a 6.7-inch display and measure 164.8×75.5x9mm, and its thickness increases to 11.3mm around the camera bump.
In addition, the Vivo X70 Pro + was also spotted in the Google Play Console by MySmartPrice. The listing suggests that the Vivo X70 Pro + could be powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and an Adreno 660 GPU. It will likely run Android 11 and have a 1080×2400 Full-HD + display. The image attached to the Google Play Console listing shows a front panel design similar to the leaked render.
Hu Baishan, Executive Vice President of Vivo reportedly confirmed in a media interview that the Vivo X70 series will launch in September and will be powered by the company’s first ISP chip called the V1.
The Vivo X70 Pro + was previously spotted on the 3C certification site with 66W fast charging support. The Vivo X70 series is expected to launch in September ahead of the IPL season.
