The iPhone SE 4 – the intended successor to the iPhone SE (2022) – has been spotted in new renders. Apple’s entry-level smartphone series is said to get its fourth installment in the form of the iPhone SE 4, which will reportedly launch sometime in 2023. Unlike previous iPhone SE models, the new phone could have a design based on the iPhone XR, according to renders provided by leaker Jon Prosser. The smartphone features a 6.1-inch notched display. The images also suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will be released in midnight, starry, and red color options. Tipster has shared renderings of the phone that hint at the design and colors of Apple’s yet-to-be-announced affordable smartphone.
The alleged iPhone SE 4 will have the same form factor as the iPhone XR, according to renders provided by leaker Jon Prosser. iPhone SE 4 renders were created by designer Jan Zelbo. However, the renders aren’t accompanied by any of the iPhone SE 4’s technical specs, and Apple hasn’t yet revealed plans for the iPhone SE (2022) successor.
However, the design renderings give us a good idea of the intended design, display, and size of the iPhone SE 4. At first glance, it appears to have a large notched display. Renders are also shown in midnight, starlight, and red.
A previous report suggested that the iPhone SE 4 would feature a 6.1-inch LCD with a notch at the top of the screen.
The smartphone also has a modern design with reduced bezels, notch and Face ID. The alleged iPhone SE 4 may bear similarities to the iPhone X and later, unlike the second and third generation iPhone SE models, which are similar in design to the iPhone 8.
So far, Apple has released three generations of iPhone SE models, with the latest iPhone SE (2022) debuting in March this year with a starting price of Rs. 43,900 for the base 64 GB model.
The current generation iPhone SE (2022) has a design similar to the iPhone 8. It is powered by the Apple A15 Bionic SoC, which is also used in the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14. The smartphone has a 4.7-inch Retina HD display. It features a single 12MP rear camera. For selfies and video chats, it features a 7-megapixel camera sensor. The smartphone also has up to 256 GB of storage, an IP67 body and a Touch ID home button with a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
