Leaked alleged Asus Zenfone 9 renders offer detailed look at design ahead of launch

Asus Zenfone 9 launch confirmed on July 28th. The company has unveiled the official first look of the phone, which shows the front panel with a punch hole in the top left corner. It is said to be a compact offering from Asus with a 5.9-inch display. Now, a week before its launch, a well-known tipster has leaked several Asus Zenfone 9 design renders. These alleged renders offer a detailed look at every aspect of the smartphone’s design.

Tipster SnoopyTech (@snoopitek) tweeted alleged design of Asus Zenfone 9 on Tuesday. Tipster claims that these renders were intended for the press. They showcase the neat look of a compact display with flat edges, minimal bezels, and a punch hole in the top left corner. There are two large cameras on the back of the phone, including a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor with gimbal stabilization – expected to be the Sony IMX766 sensor.

In addition, it has flat, iPhone-like side panels, with the right side housing the volume rockers and the power button. The base of the Zenfone 9 features a USB Type-C port, a SIM tray slot, a speaker grille, and a microphone. While at the top, this phone may also have a 3.5mm audio jack.

An alleged Asus Zenfone 9 promo video has also recently been leaked, revealing some of the phone’s key specs. It is said to feature a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood of the smartphone, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC can be installed.

The Zenfone 9 is said to feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main lens. Most likely, it will also be equipped with a 4300 mAh battery. The smartphone can get two stereo speakers and a 3.5mm audio jack.
