iQoo Z6 series confirmed to feature Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, LPDDR5 RAM; Alleged renders leaked online

iQoo confirmed some specifications of the upcoming iQoo Z6 series by using Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. According to iQoo, the upcoming series of phones in China will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The iQoo Z6 series will be equipped with six-layer liquid cooling technology with ice to dissipate heat. The company claims that this will help reduce the temperature of the SoC by 13 degrees Celsius.

According to report from Gizmochina, iQoo Z6 5G has been listed on the China Telecom website with model number V2220A. The phone will reportedly feature a 6.64-inch center punch-hole display with a resolution of 2388×1080 pixels. For connectivity, it may have 5G, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC. It is reported that it can also be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In the images, the phone can be seen with a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. The other image shows that the phone is running OriginOS. The image also suggests that it could have 12GB of RAM and 4GB of virtual memory with 256GB of onboard storage.

The company has already confirmed that the iQoo Z6 series will launch in China on August 25 at 7:30 pm local time (5:00 pm EDT). It is assumed that a series of smartphones will support optical image stabilization. It will be released in three color options and will support 80W charging. The company claims that the battery can be charged from zero to 50 percent in 10 minutes.
