iQoo Z6 Lite 5G will be the world’s first smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC

iQoo Z6 Lite 5G is set to debut in India on September 14th. The Vivo-owned brand has revealed some of the phone’s specs ahead of its launch. The iQoo Z6 Lite 5G display was previously reported to have a 120Hz refresh rate. Now, iQoo has confirmed that this smartphone will be the world’s first smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC. This newly announced chipset uses 6nm process technology. It has eight CPU cores clocked at up to 2GHz.

iQoo created microsite to reveal more iQoo Z6 Lite 5G features as the September 14th launch date approaches. It is claimed that this smartphone with the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC scored 388,486 points in AnTuTu. This chipset is said to deliver high image quality with efficient battery usage. Powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, the iQoo Z6 Lite 5G is also said to offer excellent gaming performance.

The phone’s AnTuTu score is said to be higher than the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset that powers phones like the Redmi 11 Prime 5G and Samsung Galaxy M13 5G. It also supposedly has the Snapdragon 680 chipset that is used in the VIvo Y35 4G, Moto G32, and other affordable smartphones.

iQoo Z6 Lite 5G will cost less than Rs. 15,000 segment smartphone with features like 120Hz refresh rate, 5000mAh battery, 50MP main camera, Android 12 and more. The microsite teases that additional camera and gaming features will be introduced on Thursday.

iQoo also revealed the design of this phone, which will feature a waterdrop notch on the front. There is also an AI triple rear camera housed in a rectangular camera module.
