iQoo Z6 5G variant in development, may support 80W fast charging: report

The iQoo Z6 5G series was launched in India in March this year. The Chinese smartphone brand is now said to be working on another model in the lineup with support for 80W charging. The company’s iQoo Z6 5G supports 18W fast charging, while the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G supports 66W FlashCharge. Other details, including pricing and availability, are currently unknown. The iQoo Z6 5G, which debuted earlier this year, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery.

According to report According to CNMO, iQoo may be working on a new iQoo Z series smartphone. It is said to be the iQoo Z6 5G variant. As previously mentioned, the phone is rumored to support 80W fast charging, which is an upgrade from support for 18W fast charging on the iQoo Z6 5G and 66W FlashCharge on the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G. The report also added that the rumored smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 7-series chipset.

Recall, iQoo Z6 5G was launched in March in India. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. It features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The iQoo Z6 5G also has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

In terms of optics, the iQoo Z6 5G features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP bokeh lens. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery. As mentioned above, iQoo Z6 5G supports 18W fast charging.

iQoo Z6 Pro 5G was launched in India in April this year. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM. It is equipped with a relatively small 4700 mAh battery. As mentioned earlier, iQoo Z6 Pro 5G supports 66W FlashCharge.
