IQoo Z5x launch date set for October 20, will ship with 5000mAh battery

The iQoo Z5x launch date has been confirmed by the company. The upcoming smartphone will be unveiled on October 20 in China. In addition, the design of the iQoo Z5x has also been teased, and it shows the smartphone in two colors with a rectangular module for installing a dual rear camera. In addition, the smartphone also has a 5,000mAh battery. Earlier this week, the TENAA listing suggested some of the key features of the smartphone. The iQoo Z5x is said to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SoC.

In a post on Weibo, iQoo confirmed that the iQoo Z5x will launch on October 20. Interested buyers can pre-order smartphone through the iQoo online store. On the landing page of the online store, it is reported that the smartphone will receive a 5000 mAh battery.

The landing page of the iQoo online store also showcases the design with some images of the future smartphone. iQoo Z5x is available in two colors – black and orange. The smartphone is shown with a rectangular camera module that houses two lenses – presumably a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the right spine you can see a phone with a volume rocker and a power button. The bottom of the iQoo Z5x houses a speaker grill, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Earlier this week, the alleged TENAA listing hinted at the possible specs of the iQoo Z5x. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SoC paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. iQoo Z5x can get 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage. The TENAA listing shows that the smartphone can get a 6.58-inch TFT display and run Android 11. According to the listing, the iQoo Z5x measures 163.95×75.30×8.5mm and weighs 169 grams.
