IQoo Neo 5S specifications announced ahead of launch today; Comes with 4500mAh battery, 66W fast charge

The iQoo Neo 5S will be released later today at a special launch event in China. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese smartphone maker has shared some of the key specs of the upcoming smartphone. The company has shared some teaser images that show it may not get a 3.5mm headphone jack, but will get a stereo speaker setup. The iQoo Neo 5S also features a 48MP main sensor for installing a triple rear camera. The iQoo Neo 5S display specifications have also been posted online.

Via Weibo mailiQoo teased that the upcoming iQoo Neo 5S will get a 4500mAh battery with 66W fast charging support with two cells. The Vivo subsidiary is said to charge from zero to 70 percent in 18 minutes. Another mail teases that the upcoming iQoo smartphone will get stereo speakers and the published images lack a 3.5mm headphone jack.

iQoo, via Other A Weibo post teased the camera specifications for the future iQoo Neo 5S. The smartphone will receive a 48-megapixel primary sensor with a 25-mm aspherical lens with an f / 1.79 aperture. The iQoo Neo 5S will also have optical image stabilization (OIS). The Chinese smartphone maker also shared a sample camera from the iQoo Neo 5S, which shows good dynamic range and realistic color reproduction.

Separately another Weibo mail teases some of the display characteristics of the future iQoo smartphone. IQoo Neo 5S will receive an OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. The upcoming smartphone will also feature 6,000,000: 1 contrast ratio, 1,000Hz touchscreen sampling rate and HDR10 + support.

The iQoo Neo series is due out today. The iQoo Neo 5S launch is scheduled to coincide with the launch of the upcoming iQoo Neo 5 SE.
