iQoo is expanding its Neo series with the launch of the iQoo Neo 5 SE on December 20 in China. Subsidiary Vivo made this announcement via its official Weibo account. The post was also accompanied by a teaser video confirming the design and some of the key features of this smartphone. The iQoo Neo 5 SE will feature a triple rear camera with a 50MP main sensor. In addition, iQoo is set to launch the iQoo Neo 5S on the same day.
V teaser teamed up with iQoo to unveil three colors for the iQoo Neo 5 SE at launch: navy blue, gradient blue and white trim. The video shows him with the camera hole punch in the center on the front. The bottom panel houses the speaker grill, USB Type-C port, SIM card slot, and microphone. It is noteworthy that the device lacks a 3.5 mm audio port.
As previously mentioned, the iQoo Neo 5 SE has now been confirmed to have a 50MP rear camera with LED flash. Another standout feature is the side power button, which appears to be built into the fingerprint sensor. It has been mentioned in past reports that the iQoo Neo 5 SE is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC and supports 66W fast charging.
Previously, iQoo also confirmed the release of the iQoo Neo 5S on December 20 in China. The iQoo Neo 5S will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. This phone will also have an additional chipset called the Display Chip Pro. This secondary chipset is expected to reduce the load on the GPU. The iQoo Neo 5S will also have an improved cooling system that is said to cover 90 percent of the phone’s body. Its triple rear camera has been confirmed to feature mechanical OIS.
