iQoo 9T 5G unboxing video leaked ahead of launch, design, key specs

The iQoo 9T 5G has surfaced online in a premature unboxing video ahead of its launch, giving us a glimpse of the phone’s design, content, and specs. The iQoo 9 series phone has been confirmed to launch in India soon, however, the exact launch date by the Chinese smartphone maker has not been officially announced. The video shows the iQoo 9T 5G with a triple rear camera setup and is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Youtube channel called Tech Burner published unboxing video of the upcoming iQoo 9T 5G. The video shows the phone’s retail box – a black rectangular box – which includes a clear case, a 120W charger, a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter, documentation, a SIM eject tool, and the phone itself.

The video shows the BMW Motorsport Edition and the iQoo 9T 5G variant in black. The unboxing video offers a detailed rear view of the phone and a discussion of its main features. Judging by the video, the phone has a two-tone design with the power button and volume controls located on the left edge of the phone. The speaker grille, USB Type-C port and SIM card tray are located on the bottom. The BMW Motorsport Edition features a tri-color BMW Motorsport-inspired racing stripe running off-center along the matte white rear fascia. The power button is also blue. In the black color variant, the bottom half of the back panel is said to have a matte finish.

iQoo 9T 5G Specifications (Expected)

iQoo 9T 5G can be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The unboxing video shows the triple rear cameras with support for 40x digital zoom. The camera unit is said to include a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 main sensor. The phone will also be equipped with a V1+ image processing chip. “f/1.88 2.2 ASPH” is printed on the camera island. The gaming-focused phone is said to offer Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC) support.

Amazon India is teasing the arrival of a new iQoo 9 series phone in the country without confirming a launch date. The iQoo 9T 5G is speculated to be a rebranded iQoo 10 series smartphone, scheduled to launch in China on July 19.
