According to the report, the iQoo 9 series will consist of the iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro smartphones. The main characteristics of both phones were allegedly also published on the Internet. The iQoo 9 Pro is said to feature a triple rear camera with two 50MP sensors and a 16MP sensor. Meanwhile, iQoo has shared some camera samples showcasing the prowess of the iQoo 9 Pro with its 150-degree ultra wide-angle camera. Images shown are two regular images and two others captured in fisheye mode.
The first development takes place as leaked image on Weibo, which was published by Tipster Abhishek Yadav. The image shows that the iQoo 9 series will consist of the iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro smartphones. The informant also shared the main characteristics of the phones. Some of these specifications have already been confirmed by iQoo in previous reports.

While the iQoo 9 is said to feature a Samsung E5 AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution, the professional variant is said to feature a Samsung E5 2K panel. Under the hood, the phones will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC paired with an “improved version” of LPDDR5 RAM and an “overclocking version” of UFS 3.1 storage. Both phones will also feature a 3D VC heat dissipation system. Both phones are said to be powered by 4,700mAh batteries with 120W charging.
Camera parts iQoo 9, iQoo 9 Pro
In terms of cameras, both the iQoo 9 and iQoo9 Pro will feature triple rear camera systems, as per the above image posted on Weibo. The base model will come with 50MP, 13MP and 12MP cameras. The Pro variant is said to have two 50MP sensors and a third 16MP sensor. iQoo has already confirmed via mail on Weibo that smartphones will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor. A poster in the post revealed that the phone will have a 7P lens and gimbal stabilization.
V related postiQoo teased that the iQoo 9 Pro model will feature a 150-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor – something that Realme teased for the Realme GT 2 Pro. It is not known which sensor is paired with an ultra wide angle lens. The report also says the phone will also come with a fisheye mode, which is used for taking extreme ultra-wide-angle photos. He shared four photos, two of which are regular images and the other two were taken in fisheye mode. Details of the camera sensors, other than the 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, are still unknown. The phones will launch on January 5 in China.
