iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus Redesigned Bump Camera: Report

The iPhone 15 series is expected to launch this year. Apple is reportedly working on several aesthetic changes to the design of the upcoming iPhone series. It is expected that the flagship line of smartphones will compete with the already announced series of the main competitor Samsung Galaxy S23. Although it’s at least six months away from the announcement, the latest rumors about the alleged iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus suggest the phones could feature a rounded back and a redesigned camera bump design.

According to tipster ShrimpApplePro (@VNchocoTaco), commenting on Apple Hub tweet teasing the features of the upcoming lineup, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could have a redesigned camera bump on the back. Tipster did not reveal further information about the camera setup.

On the other hand, an Apple Hub tweet suggested some of the key specs to expect from the iPhone 15 line. The vanilla iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus specs include that the smartphones can have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens, respectively. The displays are also expected to feature a new dynamic island design with 2.5D glass.

In terms of optics, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to feature a 48MP camera along with an A16 chip with 6GB of RAM and a USB Type-C port that support the same blazing speeds as the iPhone 14 models.

Meanwhile, the tipster also suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro could get a 6.1-inch display similar in size to the iPhone 15. The top-end iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to have a 6.7-inch screen similar to the iPhone 15 Plus in terms of size.

Earlier it was reported that Apple could potentially use up to 2500 brightness units in the iPhone 15 Ultra. The Ultra model in the iPhone 15 lineup will reportedly replace the top-of-the-line Pro Max model.
