Korean site The Elec reports that the iPhone 14 Pro with a 6.06-inch display and the iPhone 14 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display reportedly have a punch-hole display, which differs from the notch design seen on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro current generation. Maximum.

The punch-hole display design is essentially a small circular notch located at the top of the phone’s screen to accommodate the selfie camera. This design is already present on many Android smartphones, such as the flagship Samsung Galaxy S21 series, and Apple hopes to apply a similar strategy to its iPhone Pro models next year, according to this report. The report also says Apple will integrate low temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) and thin film transistors (TFT) for OLED panels on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. These panels were first introduced on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max models this year, and will also appear on the Pro models next year. These LTPO OLED panels are reportedly supplied by Samsung Display and will offer a variable refresh rate of 120Hz.
