It should be noted that the iPhone 13 Pro Max is officially discontinued this year, so you won’t be able to buy it directly from Apple.com.
Simply put, if you already have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, there’s no point in buying the 14 Pro Max. But if you don’t have the 13 Pro Max and are still using something older like the iPhone 11 Pro and you’re in no rush, get yourself an iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max because some of the new features and improvements seem to justify the premium.
