Infinix Hot 30i Spotted on Google Play Console Offered to Get Unisoc T606 SoC: Report

The Infinix Hot 30i has been confirmed to launch as the latest smartphone in the Infinix Hot series on March 27 in India. The upcoming smartphone, which will replace last year’s Infinix Hot 20i, has also been teased by the Chinese smartphone brand through official first-look images posted on social media. Now, ahead of its official launch, the upcoming entry-level Infinix Hot 30i has reportedly been spotted on the Google Play Console, revealing some of the key specs it’s expected to have.

According to report from PriceBaba, an Infinix smartphone with model number Infinix X6999 has been spotted on the Google Play Console. The phone is considered the officially announced Infinix Hot 30i, the successor to last year’s Infinix Hot 20i.

The Chinese smartphone maker has officially confirmed that the upcoming entry-level smartphone will launch on March 27 in India with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 16GB of RAM. It has also been confirmed that the smartphone will be available in three color options – Diamond White, Glacier Blue and Mirror Black with a glass finish. Official marketing images suggest dual rear cameras and a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric verification.

The Google Play Console listing reportedly listed some additional processor, RAM, and Android version numbers to expect from the Infinix Hot 30i. The listing notes that the smartphone could be equipped with the Unisoc T606 SoC, which is an octa-core chip built on a 12nm process consisting of two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores paired with a Mali-G57 MP1. This is a significant improvement over the Infinix Hot 20i, which comes with a MediaTek Helio G25 SoC with eight Cortex-A53 cores.

The Google Play Console listing of the Infinix Hot 30i offers a 4GB RAM version that runs on Android 12 OS. However, the company has already confirmed that the smartphone will have up to 16GB of RAM. Its predecessor, the Infinix Hot 20i, was released in two versions, one running Android 12 and the other running Android 12 Go Edition. However, there is no indication that the Infinix Hot 30i will come to multiple versions of Android.

Other rumors about the upcoming entry-level smartphone include that it could have a 6.6-inch IPS display, a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a 6,000mAh battery. There are also rumors that the smartphone will be released as part of a lineup that also includes the vanilla Infinix Hot 30 model and the Infinix Hot 30 Play model.
