How to watch Paramount Plus outside the US
To sign up for Paramount Plus, you’ll need a VPN. This stands for Virtual Private Network and basically redirects your IP address so you can browse the Internet as if you were in another country. To view Paramount Plus, you need to connect to a US server.
There are many VPN providers to choose from, but based on our testing NordVPN as well as Surfshark have the best performance and the most competitive prices. However, you can check out other paid VPN providers as well as free VPN options – although they probably won’t have enough servers to successfully access the site.
Once you’ve downloaded your chosen VPN, there’s one more hurdle you need to overcome – payment methods. Paramount Plus currently only accepts cards linked to US bank accounts.
You can get around the payment issue by purchasing a digital gift card. Here’s what you need to do:
- Connect to a US server with your chosen VPN
- Buy a gift card online from an online retailer like Walmart (more options can be found here). $25 is the minimum that will get you almost four months of ad-supported browsing. You may also need to get a US address and phone number to register, but you can get them for free online.

- Select the subscription plan you want to subscribe to

You should now be able to watch Paramount Plus.
As always, when using a VPN to access content overseas, remember that you will be violating Paramount Plus’s terms of use, so the company could theoretically terminate your account if it detects you are using a VPN. Proceed at your own risk.
