How to Sign Up for a Free Amazon Prime Trial

This year, Amazon Prime Day will run for two days, with deals available on July 12 and 13, 2022.
However, as the name suggests, they will only be available to customers with a Prime membership. It costs £79 / $139 per year, or £7.99 / $14.99 if you prefer to pay monthly, but gives you access to a host of other perks. Unlimited free one-day shipping (on many items) is probably the best known, but you can also use the Prime Video streaming service and store unlimited photos in the cloud. If you’ve never subscribed to Amazon Prime, sign up now for a 30-day free trial. This means you can access Prime Day discounts without paying a dime. Here’s what you need to know.
How to sign up for Prime using Amazon Alexa
If you have an Echo device or smart home speaker with Amazon Alexa, you can also sign up for Amazon Prime by simply saying “Alexa, sign me up for Prime.”
How to sign up for Amazon Prime on PC
- To sign up for Amazon Prime, follow the link Dedicated Amazon Prime Registration Page. The first month is free with a 30-day trial period.
- On the Amazon signup page, click “Try Prime” and it will ask you for your Amazon login details.

- You should immediately see a page that asks for your credit card and address information if it’s not already saved by Amazon.. Once on the homepage, hover over the Prime button right below your cart and click Get Started.

- Amazon will ask you to verify your credit card details and billing address. If everything is in order, click “Try Prime FREE – Pay Later”.

- You should now see a confirmation page welcoming you to Amazon Prime.

How to sign up for Amazon Prime on mobile

Keep in mind that Amazon will charge you a Prime membership fee each month (or year) after your free trial ends unless you cancel your membership. If you do so before the 30 days are up, you will have access to all Prime Day offers at no additional charge.
