How to Share Your Location on WhatsApp on iPhone

oneEnable location permission for whatsapp
First of all, you need to allow WhatsApp to see your location. To do this, open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap the following options: Settings > Privacy > Location Services > WhatsApp > Always.

2Open the relevant individual or group chat
Return to WhatsApp and open a chat for the person or group you want to send your location to.

3Share your location
Click Attach (it’s a blue plus sign) and select Location. You can choose to send your current location (which will be constantly updated) or the exact location at the time the message was sent. You can even select a specified location nearby if you want to meet somewhere nearby.

4Set a time limit for your location
If you choose to share your current location, you will need to select a time limit for this; default settings: 15 minutes, 1 hour or 8 hours. Once that’s done, just hit the submit button (paper airplane symbol) and your location will be on the way.
FAQ
To turn off location permission for WhatsApp, simply follow the first step of this guide, but choose to deny permission instead of turning it on.
Your shared location will only be visible to the person or group you shared it with.
Open the chat where you shared your location and click Stop Sharing.
