How to check which version of Android is installed on your smartphone

What you will need:
- We used the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, but you can use any Android smartphone.

- Open the Settings app
- Click “About phone”.
- Scroll down to Android version.

oneOpen the Settings app
First of all, open the Settings app of your phone. It can be found either on your phone’s home screen or in the app drawer (as shown), and it has a mechanical cog icon.

2Click “About phone”.
In the Settings app, tap About Phone from the list.

3Scroll down to Android version.
When you get to “About Phone” just scroll down until you see the “Android Version” list and this is where you can find out the version of Android software that is running on your phone.
Troubleshooting
If your smartphone is eligible for the update, you can install it by going to the Settings app and tapping System Updates.
