The Honor Play 6C has been quietly released by the company in China with a waterdrop notch display, Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, single rear camera, and a 5000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. The Honor Play 6C enters the affordable 5G smartphone segment that the company has excelled at in the past. Honor is also reportedly planning to release its next flagship in the X40 series called the Honor X40 GT, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 4G chipset.

Honor’s latest affordable 5G smartphone, the Honor Play 6C, has been released. accessible in China, priced at CNY 1,099 (roughly Rs. 12,700) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 15,000) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. When the Honor Play 6C launches in China, customers can choose from three color options: Magic Night Black, Aurora Blue, and Titanium Silver.

The Honor Play 6C is equipped with a Snapdragon 480 5G SoC with Honor Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 12 OS. The latest available model from Honor is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 22.5W fast charging. The Honor Play 6C features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera in a waterdrop notch and a 13-megapixel single camera with LED flash on the back.
The smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Honor Play 6C comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Honor’s latest 5G model also supports dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. Honor Play 6C is currently not available in India.
The company is said to be announcing its plans for a global launch of the smartphone soon. Honor is also expected to release a new flagship in its X40 series called the Honor X40 GT.
