Although they were first unveiled by the company at Google I/O in May, the company has now confirmed that the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be powered by the company’s second generation Tensor SoC and will run Android 13 out of the box. Google says the new chipset will offer users useful personalized features for photos, videos, security, and speech recognition.

This was the second time that at least one model of the Google Pixel 7 models was leaked online – earlier this year, YouTube channel Unbox Therapy teased what are said to be early versions of both Pixel 7 models.

Meanwhile, the Google Pixel Watch, which was also teased in May, is also due to be unveiled at the event. This is the first smartwatch designed and built by the company, according to Google, and it will merge the company’s software with Fitbit’s health and fitness expertise. The smartwatch will work with all Pixel and Android smartphones and will run on the new WearOS operating system.
