Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch launch date set for October 6th: all the details

The launch date for the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro is set for October 6, the company announced on Tuesday. The company previously teased the launch of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro successors at Google I/O earlier this year, with the next hardware launch event scheduled for a month live. Another product announced by the firm in May, the Google Pixel Watch, will also debut at the upcoming Made by Google event.
AT ad at the company’s U.S. store on Tuesday, the company revealed that its upcoming Made by Google launch event will take place on October 6. “October 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM ET. [7:30pm IST]we will officially unveil the latest portfolio of Google Pixel devices during the livestream,” the landing page reads.
Google has confirmed that it will unveil the Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Google Pixel Watch at an event on October 6th. The company is also announcing new Nest smart home products.
Although they were first unveiled by the company at Google I/O in May, the company has now confirmed that the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be powered by the company’s second generation Tensor SoC and will run Android 13 out of the box. Google says the new chipset will offer users useful personalized features for photos, videos, security, and speech recognition.
A few days ago, the Pixel 7 Pro was spotted in an unboxing video showing the phone in black. This was the second time that at least one model of the Google Pixel 7 models was leaked online – earlier this year, YouTube channel Unbox Therapy teased what are said to be early versions of both Pixel 7 models.
Meanwhile, the Google Pixel Watch, which was also teased in May, is also due to be unveiled at the event. This is the first smartwatch designed and built by the company, according to Google, and it will merge the company’s software with Fitbit’s health and fitness expertise. The smartwatch will work with all Pixel and Android smartphones and will run on the new WearOS operating system.
