Google Pixel 6a Shows Leak Online Shows a perforated display, no headphone jack, dual rear cameras

The Google Pixel 6a is reportedly in development. In anticipation of the official announcement from the tech giant, renders of the smartphone have been leaked on the Internet, giving a glimpse of the design and some of the specs of the Google phone. The leaked renders show a design identical to the standard Google Pixel 6, with punch-holes and a 6.2-inch display. The phone is also equipped with dual rear cameras. The Google Pixel 6a is said to replace the Google Pixel 5a 5G and will likely debut as a mid-range device in India.

Google Pixel 6a renders were general renowned analyst Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks), at cooperation with 91Mobiles. The leaked images show the phone is a two-tone color, with a glass back and a center display with a hole punch. The renders of the Google Pixel 6a show antenna cutouts from all sides. The volume rocker and power button are located on the right spine of the phone, while the SIM card tray is visible on the left spine. In addition, the microphone, speaker grill and USB Type-C port are also visible at the bottom.

The dual rear cameras and LED flash are visible inside a camera module identical to the vanilla Pixel 6 module. It can also be seen using the in-display fingerprint sensor. Pixel 6a shown without 3.5mm headphone jack. According to the leaked images, the Google Pixel 6a will be the first Pixel A phone without a headphone jack.

Also, the upcoming Google phone measures around 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.7mm (10.4mm including rear camera protrusion).

The Google Pixel 6a specs are likely to be an upgrade from the Pixel 5a 5G, which launched in August this year. The Pixel 6a is expected to receive the Snapdragon 778G SoC instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC that its predecessor had. It is also expected to run on Android 12.
