Google Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro Dec 2021 Update paused due to call interruption issues

The company said that the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro update in December 2021 has been suspended due to reports of call termination. The tech giant said they have identified a fix to be rolled out in a software update by the end of January. Google’s newest phones have been at the center of controversy over various software glitches. Since the phones launched in October, various users of the latest Pixel smartphones have complained of issues.

He also said that the fix will be released as a software update by the end of January and “will include all the fixes and improvements that were originally planned for December.” This means users will get features such as support for digital car keys in certain regions, Quick Tap to Snap, Now Playing enhancements and Recorder.

If you are one of those who have installed the update and are not experiencing any problems with the connection to the mobile network, you can continue to use your phone. Google says that those Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro experiencing the problem can revert to a previous version of the software using the Android Flash Tool. (flash.android.com) and perform a factory reset. “Please back up your phone before restoring to a previous software version,” the company notes.

Several Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users reportedly complained about random cracks appearing on their smartphones recently. The report says that more users of Google Pixel 6 Pro smartphones were affected compared to the regular Pixel 6. The company also temporarily disabled two Assistant-enabled features on Pixel 6 smartphones, “Hold for Me” and “Call Screen”.
