Google Pixel 5a may arrive before Pixel 6

According to fresh reports, the Google Pixel 5a could beat the Pixel 6 in the race to the store shelves.

According to a report in Front Tech PageThe Pixel 5a will launch later this month, August 26, but only in the US and Japan.

If you live in these countries, you should be able to buy a phone from the Google Store, physically in a store or online, for an estimated price of about $ 450 in the United States. The price in Japan has not been confirmed at this stage.

It is rumored that the smartphone will have the same camera as the Pixel 5, will have an IP67 rating, and will also have a headphone jack.

According to a Front Page Tech article, the smartphone will feature a 6.4-inch display with a forced refresh rate of 90Hz. The processor will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G with 6GB of RAM and a 4650mAh battery.

And for those wondering if Google will jump on the wireless charging train with this debut, we hate to disappoint, but it looks like there won’t be a wireless charging option for the Pixel 5a.

Not much is known about Google’s latest smartphone beyond the expected Pixel 5a to be mostly black. We don’t know if other colors will be available, but if the Pixel 5 is any indication, you shouldn’t be hoping for something too flashy or flashy.

However, it’s important to remember that nothing is official yet. But Google previously stated that the Pixel 5a will be announced around the same time as last year’s A-series phone. This time slot coincides with August 26, as the Pixel 4a launched on August 3, 2020.
